The DJI O4 U.FL antenna connectors are known for being fragile, especially on the O4 Lite. Even a minor crash can cause the connector to break or rip away from the board.

During checkout, you can select Resin Reinforcement. This service uses UV resin to reinforce and secure the antenna connector and surrounding area, helping prevent the connector from being ripped off during future crashes.

Antenna Orientation

If you want the antenna positioned in a specific orientation before the resin reinforcement is applied, please specify your preferred orientation in the text box provided in the product options during checkout.

Once the resin reinforcement has been applied, the antenna may be difficult or impossible to reposition without removing the reinforcement.

When sending your unit in, please include:

The main O4 unit
The antenna
The original U.FL connector, if possible

If you select Resin Reinforcement for the camera, please also include:

The camera
The camera cable

Conformal Coating

Conformal Coating is an additional service that applies a silicone conformal coating to the O4 unit’s components to provide additional protection against moisture and water damage.

If you send in the camera, the camera’s components will also be conformally coated when this option is selected.

Important Information

Please be aware that resin reinforcement is intended to be a permanent modification. Once the antenna or camera connector has been reinforced with resin, it may be difficult or impossible to remove the reinforcement without damaging the surrounding components.

After receiving your unit back, you may need to re-pair the O4 unit with your goggles. Units are paired with my goggles during testing to verify proper operation before being shipped back.
